Para quienes buscan un buen reproductor SACD sin vaciar las cuentas bancarias.

rAceptémoslo, la realidad es que el formato SACD no llegará ya a ser el formato dominante, pocos, muy pocos siquiera lo conocerán, pero en el pequeño círculo audiófilo se le busca con afán muchas veces pues es, como sea, el pináculo en cuanto a calidad de reproducción digital se refiere, una verdadera lástima que Toshiba haya generado turbulencias con su DVD-A que no logró nada más que descarrilar el camino previsto para SACD.

Más aun encontrar reproductores de buena calidad y un precio razonable pero ya en un plano audiófilo es complicado, hay modelos de SONY que incorporan reproducción SACD pero aun nos dejan ese parecer que su objetivo primordial no es la alta calidad en audio e incluyen SACD más como un plus de compatibilidad. Otros fabricantes como Marantz ofrece equipos en un rango medianamente razonable y de bastante buena calidad otros más como Esoteric o Cary ofrecen equipos pero a preciso que si resultan un tanto más inaccesibles.

Así entonces tenemos este PD-D9-J, de Pioneer uno de los primeros fabricantes en respaldar el formato y más aun, que lo ofreció en equipos de reproducción iniversal muy accesibles. El precio de venta de este equipo es de unos 900 USD y basta un vistazo al interior para descubrir que es un serio reproductor y a ese precio me parece que es mejro aun.

The player features a special quadruple-layered chassis; the front, top and side panels are made of aluminium. The PD-D9-J also has a rigid underbase construction, offering an extremely high internal stability. This means that the audio you here is virtually interference and noise-free.

This benefit is further enhanced by the extremely rigid TAOC feet that isolate the player from vibration on virtually any surface.

The PD-D9-J relies on two Wolfson 192 kHz/24-bit high-performance digital-to-analogue converters that operate in parallel. Their high sampling rates eliminate timing jitter and provide masterful sound quality.
